"Okay, Uncle Addy." the little girl responded, standing up and skipping after Adam, making sure to keep away from Zeph as to not spook him. She had an advanced vocabulary, most likely from being around adults all her life instead of children her own age. She soon stopped skipping and quietly followed after her uncle. "Can I pet Peevee?" she asked, pointing to PV. She was fond of the Thoroughbred, favoring him, Zeph, and Champ above all of the other horses in the stable. She was fascinated with Gal, but didn't like him as much as the other three stallions.
Ethan was talking to the vet, standing outside of Flourish's foal. He nodded as the vet told him a few things he should do to help Flourish deliver if she went into labor earlier than expected. The past foals had given her a hard time, since she was thin, and she had delivered a good bit before her due date.

Ever peeked out of the stall and a wide grin spread across her lips. "Ssh!"she giggled to Lyric as she slipped out of the stall. She sank against the stall door and tried unsuccessfully to make herself unknown. With a giggle she came behind Ethan and wrapped her hands around his eyes."Guess who!"she whispered in his ear. She glanced at the vet,"Ssh!"she told him with a smile and a wink.
Lyric stuck her head out the stall and nickered sweetly to her short person. She wanted her grain and treats and she didn't like the attention her short person was giving the other short person.
Lyric was a beautiful young filly. She had lean legs and was a mass of muscle. Her coat was like sky during a storm, beautiful hues of gray. Her eyes though we're what caught Ever's attention though. They were the lightest blue kind of like lightening.

Miracle nickered once finished with the bottle. He snapped his mouth shut on a milk bubble that had formed and squealed happily when it popped. Stacy smiled softly, giggling as she stroked him. She then put a little blanket on him and clipped it before leading him out into the pasture.
Stacy watched him for a few minutes before hurrying back into the stable. She entered Twilight's stall and offered her a carrot before clipping her own blanket on her and leading her out into the pasture where Miracle was. Twilight pranced into the pasture and glanced around, trotting over to Miracle. The two then began to play.

Sadie had brought Sunkissed Lullaby in from the pasture. She had spent some time grooming down the spunky cherry bay filly. At the moment, LuLu was actually calm, her head bowed and eyes drooping at the familiar, mechanical movements of Sadie's brush. Sadie's eyebrows were furrowed and she sighed quietly, brushing her hair out of her face. When she was done with grooming, she let out a quiet sigh and led LuLu to her stall before replacing her food and water before evidently just sinking down in the stall. Sadie would spend the night there, propped up awkwardly against the wall.
When early morning sunlight came dimly through the stable aisle, LuLu awoke, nickered, and poked her owner in the stomach harshly, wanting to go out to the pasture. Sadie let out a soft groan and her eyes flickered open to slits. "No now Lu." She mumbled before her head drooped back.

Adam was jarred from his thoughts as he thought about Celestial Zephyr's behavior. The stallion hadn't settled down just yet, pacing about. He had a light sheen of sweat to his neck and his body language was off. Adam's brow furrowed as he glanced toward Zoey. "PV? I've got to bring him in. C'mon. I'll need your help for that." He said, lifting the little girl up. He set her carefully onto Paranormal Vortex's back. "Hold on tight to his mane, just in case, alright?" He'd done this before with her. He'd be careful and ensure that the pretty bay splash colt walked. At once, PV, settled, seeming almost reluctant to move, out of fear perhaps of making Zoey fall. It was uncanny how much PV adored Zoey. He never seemed spooked by her noise, though he'd panic at the sight of a folding chair at any other time.

Zoey nodded, her little legs holding on tight as her hands gripped at the horse's mane. She liked the gentle swing of PV's walk and in no time was laying with her cheek pressed against the crest of his mane, little fingers still curled into his mane. Her red curls mixed in with the splash's black mane to make a black and orange pattern against his brown neck. She was a very confidant young girl, not scared of being so high up and off the ground, though this probably came from her mother letting her sit on the 22 hand Champ's back. Zoey's bright blue eyes watched the ground before darting up to look at the pasture. She stayed put leaning on the stallion's neck and smelling the horsie smell of his hair. The child either smelled like the stable or of her mother, and most of the time her hair had a tinge of leather soap smell to it. "I'm turning four on Saturday, Uncle Addy." the little girl said softly, though an excited tone had crept into her somewhat high pitched voice. She hadn't moved though a big grin was on her freckled face.
Ethan shook his head, trying to remove the girl's fingers. "I know it's you Ever!" he chuckled, his arms reached behind him so his fingers could gently run up her sides. He knew she was ticklish and that she would most likely let go. His baseball cap had fallen off and his very light blond hair was poking out in strange angles from hat hair.

Ever squealed as he tickled her and finally she let go. She dove for his hat though and placed it firmly on her head, but, of course, she brushed it off first. She grinned up at him,"Hey stranger."she said, tilting her head to the side. She hadn't seen him since she had left for rehab and in all honesty she missed him.
The jockey reached up and smoothed down his hair,"You.. Umm.. Have hat hair."she said, pulling back her hand. Her cheeks became a rosy pink and she ducked her head. She didn't like for people to see her blush."How ya been?"she inquired, her voice soft and melodic.
Ever had changed somewhat in appearance, she wasn't skin and bones anymore. Don't get me wrong she was still really skinny, but not to the point were her bones stuck out anymore. She had gotten some color in her and it fit her. For once she was beautiful and healthy.

Ethan grabbed the girl and pulled her into a tight bear hug, resting his head ontop of hers. "Better now," he murmured. He had been worried to death about Ever while she was in rehab. Finally, though, she was back. He swore he wouldn't ever hurt her or let anything else hurt her again. He rested his cheek on the top of her head, making sure she couldn't move out of his arms. He had gotten more muscle since he had left for Florida, his arms tougher and waist smaller while his stomach was firm and flat. His belt had a hole poked into it so that it would fit him and his tshirt hung on his lean frame.
The vet had left, having told Ethan the important information and seeing that he and the girl were busy.
Flourish was munching on hay quietly, ears pricked at her person's antics with the little yellow haired girl. She reached her muzzle out to snuffle at Ever's shirt, pulling her head back into the stall soon afterwords. She remembered when the yellow haired girl smelled of some nasty liquid, but now she smelled like a normal short person.

Ever laughed softly, wiggling just a tiny bit,"I missed you."she murumered as she listened to his heartbeat. Her head was tucked perfectly into his chest,"Dang boy, whatcha been doing?"she asked, poking his buldging muscle. She smiled again, she felt so safe and so happy there, in Ethan's arms. He was a good friend and they had been through a lot together and it was his doing that finally got her off to rehab. She glanced at Flourish,"Hey girl. I missed you too. Don't worry."she giggled softly.
Lyric nickered sweetly to the horse that was sniffing her short person. She hadn't ever seen that horse before and she hoped that this horse would be nice to her short person. Lyric ducked her head back in the sta and lazily began to lip at the hay in her stall.
