Something called to Raphael, tugging at his consciousness. His amber eyes narrowed and he spun on his heel, marching in a northerly direction. He didn't understand why; he only understood that such actions were needed, and that they needed to be carried out soon. After a few moments, he stood outside a door. He could hear music pounding behind it, thudding in the walls. His nostrils flared at a distinctly sulfur-like scent. He shook his head, narrowing his eyes in an attempt to shake the feeling of dizziness that sneaked into his mind. His upper lip twitched and he lifted his hand, beating his fist against the door a few times.

Magnus Bane's huge form took up the whole doorway, his green cat eyes narrowed,"Shadowhunter."he snarled. He helped Hope because he had to, she had saved his butt on many occasions, but one Shadowhunter was enough. Two was more than any Downworlder could handle. He glowered down at the young form of the Raphael. Magnus had went to great lengths to make sure that his guests would not be bothered by a Shadowhunter."What are you doing here?"he snapped, his eyes flashing.

A bored smile crept across Raphael's features, lazy and deadly. "I think you know," he drawled lazily, crossing his arms. It was a gesture that stated Raphael clearly thought Magnus was not a threat. His amber eyes were dark and hooded, burning with anger. That Raphael was able to contain the rage was scarier than it would have been had he erupted in fury. His jet back hair shifted gently in the wind. He waited rather unpatiently.

Magnus barely batted an eyelash, people like Raphael didn't phase him. He had dealt with people like him for years. He was immortal after all. All warlocks were. He glowered down at the young naive Shadowhunter."She's safe. I owe her my life. Nothing will come to harm her. Now go home. Back to your precious institute. Unless of course you have come to take her off my hands. My guest aren't too fond of her well expect for the wolves. So please take her."he said.
Hope was gone. Her senses dulled, her mind barely working. The smoke found its way through her system and it was not letting up anytime soon. She couldn't stop dancing either. Her body whirled to the beat of the music hammering throughout the walls.

"Hey," Raphael snapped. "Paper thin fucking ice. Watch it." He curled his lip back, baring his teeth. To some, it might've looked weird. But on Raphael, the baring of his blunt teeth was intimidating. The fact that Magnus was talking bad about Hope pissed him off, made the beast of his soul push to the surface, snarling. Raphael's amber eyes were liquefied, melting with pure hatred. Without a word, he shoved past Magnus, nostrils twitching. He gagged at the scent of Magnus' spell , the purple smoke burning his eyes. It didn't really affect him, though. His eyes flashed when he caught sight of Hope and he zeroed in on her. He was so blatantly focused on the fellow Shadowhunter that he didn't realize the room had gone quiet.

Magnus Bane's eyes widen with amusement, none of the Shadowhunters dared touch him, afraid that they would cast a spell on them. He admired that Raphael did. He watched silently as the wolf pack that danced with Hope slowed to a stop and growled at Raphael. He chuckled when one of the foolish young werewolves grabbed Hope by the waist and pulled her close to him."Mine."the werewolf snapped and growled. Soon the other wolves joined in. Hope was to disorientated to understand what was going on. She only knew one thing and that was that she couldn't stop dancing.

"Paper. Thin. Fucking. Ice," Raphael said coldly, his voice deathly soft. "This is what's going to happen, wolf. You're going to give her to me. You're going to stand still as I carry her away." His amber eyes were pure fire, burning a whole into the wolf that was holding Hope. His nostrils flared, irritated at the sulfur-like smoke and the damn wolves and their wet-dog smell. These wolves were treading on thin ice, and Raphael was itching for a fight. He didn't think Magnus would get involved if one did break out.

The wolf that was holding Hope seemed to be the one in charge. When his gripped tightened, the other two wolves moved up to flank him on each side. "Shadowhunter."the alpha growled softly as his claws slid out,"Have given any thought to where you are? You are in a house full of Downworlders who hate you and your kind. Do you really think you beat all of us? She's mine. She became mine when she accepted the bite."he finished with a grin on his face. The alpha simply nodded his head and than the other two wolves were in attack mode. Each werewolf shifted into their beast as they leaped into the air. They had to protect their alpha and his possible blue mate.
The thing they didn't know was that their alpha was bluffing about the bite.

Raphael assumed they expected him to explode, to rip out their throats. He assumed they wanted him to lose control. Wanted him to charge straight for the alpha and rip out his heart. Raphael didn't so such. Instead, he only smiled. When one of the wolves lunged for him, he stood stock still, not moving a muscle. The wolf growled, frustrated that Raphael hadn't taken the bait. Raphael gave the alpha a knowing smirk. "If she accepted your bite, then prove it." He easily ducked out of the way from another wolf's lunge. He swung a hand outward, clamping a wolf's mouth shut even as he shoved the creature away. Throughout all of this, his gaze didn't waver. "You don't know who I am, do you?" he huffed. "Well, then let me enlighten you, shall I?" He smiled again, cold and knowing. "I am Raphael, and I'm going to kill every last one of you bastards unless you let her go right now." Raphael meant every word; every opponent that he had fought he had defeated, beaten to near death. Not many who had fought Raphael had survived.
