I'm actually wondering (upon reading what you have so far on the Canis), could Malik be like...a once regular person, but like...sort of brainwashed, an additional experiment instead of just the average Canis? This would leave him more vulnerable without all of the sophisticated surges and whatnot that the others have, and could explain why he might begin to change his mind and have doubts.
If not, I understand.

what do you mean though? he won't have th lesions? because everyone has lesions, including h canis, it's just that there's were surgically placed there to keep them in that canis mindset. so if he doesn't have the lesions the. that's fine but what's the purpose for them to do that is all we need
