The massive animal dubbed Brego was raging. He reared up, tugging violently against the ropes that tied him to the cross ties, shrill cries slipping past his gnashing teeth. Foolishly, a groom had attempted to clean out the stallion's stall and was now paying for it, dodging flailing hooves and furious jaws. Jaxxon walked around the corner, eyes widening at the sight of her beloved horse. "Oi, you fool!" she snapped, shoving the groom away. "Get lost!" She spun, turning to Brego, calming herself. "Man le trasta, Brego. Man cenich?" she murmured in a low, calming voice, slowly gathering the ropes that held Brego stationary. The horse's breathing came in fast pants, but he gradually relaxed at Jaxxon's voice and calm touch. "Mae carnen, Brego, mellon nîn." As it had went Jaxxon had first approached Brego, the soothing Elvish words calmed the steed.

Jordan entered the stables upon the loud ruckus, one brow raising. Ozzy pinned his chestnut ears in discomfort at the stallion who was freaking out, arching his neck. The trainer ignored the horse, eying the flailing stallion. When Jaxxon approached to calm the thoroughbred, he smirked at the troublesome pair. "Figures," he murmured as he put Ozzy in his stall. He passed Dziki Aniol's and whistled to the bay colt, who flicked an ear before swinging his butt to face Jordan threateningly. The male used the lead he held to hit the stall door, and the colt's head flew up, eyes rolling as he stomped to the back of his stall. Then he continued, putting up Ozzy's things before walking around Brego and Jaxxon, loitering off to the distance. "Yet another trouble horse to keep life here exciting, eh?"

Jaxxon rolled her eyes, closing the stall door as she went to grab Brego's tack. "There's nothing wrong with my horse, bloke. He's just a bit skittish." She shrugged, slipping inside the tack room, and stepped right back into the hallway, once more approaching Brego. In a few scant minutes, Brego was brushed and saddled and being led out of his stall. The stallion was completely calm now, draping his head over Jaxxon's shoulder as he worked the bit around in his mouth. "See? Perfectly calm. Nothing wrong with my horse."

"Didn't seem calm a few seconds ago," Jordan muttered. He eyed the stallion, running a hand through his hair.

Brego flicked his gaze to Jordan and snorted, before cuddling back into Jaxxon's shoulder. "He's just misunderstood," Jaxx responded. "He's real sweet, once you get on his good side." She shrugged the one shoulder that Brego's head was not draped over.
