Jordan licked his lips as he stared at the ceiling of his room, blue-green eyes filled to the rims with boredom. His nearly pitch black hair was thick and ruffled, tan jaw taut and set. He clenched and unclenched it to occupy him, before sitting up and grabbing a black v-neck from his dresser, waiting until he was walking down the stairs to quickly pull it over his head.[/sub]

Keely was in the kitchen, minding her own business as she cooked herself some food. She hummed softly to herself s she bustled about, pausing every now and again to push away some hair that framed her face. Through the years she had held a shyness and depression problem, but now she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She was stubborn and boisterous, but one of the most reserved and silent of her kind. On closer inspection at the kitchen, it seemed she was making a cake, and was in the process of making colorful fondant to cover it. Her eyebrows were furrowed, her green eyes narrowed, and her lips pursed while she made the rubbery substance, solely focused on just that.

Finally out of work and home. Ugh. I need food. After I change into my soft pjs.
Aiden shot Skya a stern look as she took Aniol from him. "Still up to your ol' tricks, huh?" He said, stepping to the side so he was out of range of Aniol's legs. "So, details on this fellow. What's his name? Any bloodlines I'd know? Is he going to be as much trouble as Gal?" Gal now had bars over his stall door so he couldn't bite anyone with ease. Sure, if anyone got too close to his stall, he'd be able to bite, but he couldn't launch his head out and nip someone anymore. Aiden would ensure any aggressive horses had bars up so there was no constant fear of being bitten.
Adam quickly tacked up My Guy Red, rubbing the stallion's nose just before he slipped the bit into the chestnut's mouth. Red took the bit willingly, whereas, months ago, he'd have refused. He'd come a long way in regaining confidence and form. Adam was confident that he would do well in his first race back.

Sadie eventually left Sunkissed Lullaby's stall, her 15 month old still wriggling in her arms. Her mother shushed her, eyebrows pulling together as she bounced the baby girl on her hip. LuLu bickered after them, stamping, as if saying she wanted to be taken out. Sadie sighed, and glanced at her daughter. "Huh? You're a little too squirmy for a nap." She murmured, and Charlie responded in a string of gibberish. "Yeah, yeah." Sadie said, face lit up in amusement. Charlie giggled, and Sadie raised her eyebrows. "Where's your dad? Huh?" Charlie stared blankly at her, eyes blinking slowly. Sadie sighed quietly and started to make her way out of the stables and towards the bunkhouse. Watching heartland
