<sub>Ezra's glowing bronze gaze lifted from the computer screen before him, settling on the young blonde that stood at his desk, asking something that he hadn't caught. He blinked once, briefly considering pushing into the female's mind to figure out her question, before he decided against it. "Excuse me," he started, interrupting the young blonde. "Could you repeat that question, miss?"
The blonde didn't look very happy. "Fine. I have an appointment with Mr. Argeneau, first name Bastien. This is his company, after all. Could you tell him I'm here, Mr... Lupei?"
Ezra gritted his teeth but said nothing. "Yes, ma'am." He sighed, reaching for the phone at his right. He dialed a few numbers. Bastien picked up on the first ring.
"Bastien," he answered.
"Frère," Ezra responded, "il ya une jeune dame ici, indiquant qu'elle a un rendez-vous avec vous. Dois-je lui envoyer?"
"Name?"
"Nom?" Ezra repeated. The young blonde looked at him, bewildered. "Excuse me. Name?"
"Emily."
Ezra repeated the name and listened to Bastien's response, before returning the phone to its hook. "Take the elevator to your right, up to floor five. Follow the hallway to your right. Bastien's office is the first door on your left."
The blonde scowled at him and left.
