Immediately Bree's gaze flicked over to Aric, and her eyes narrowed. Instead of advancing towards him, she pulled away, eying him distrustfully. She sniffed the air, before her eyes narrowed even more, into a glare. She was silent, watching him fro the safety of her corner. But then she leaned over, to peer past him. She was hungry, he couldn't be her food, could he? Her eyes drifted down to his neck, and she licked her lips quickly. He couldn't be her food, but he definately was a stranger. If he advanced too close, she would attack.

"Bree," Aric repeated. "It's me, Aric Argeneau. Your life-mate... remember?" He held his up, palms facing forward, signaling that he was not a threat to Bree.

Bree blinked, eyes widening as he talked. She still did not move though, and in fact, seemed to edge even further away. Whether she forgot he was her mate, or she just seemed to not care, she was unresponsive. She blinked once, twice, three times, before she started to edge froward, on her hands and knees. She paused when she was several feet closer. She inspected him closely, head bobbing as she focused on him. Something like a growly hiss came out of her throat, and she scrambled a few inches away. "Please..." she murmured softly, finally averting her green gaze from his.

"Breanna," Aric murmured, crouching so that he was eye-level with her. "I know that you remember, and I know that you care. God... what did he do to you, Bree?"

Bree blinked curiously, gaze scanning his body. How she would see and notice him would be different now. She would actually feel the connection back. But perhaps now was a little too soon, as the other effects haven't come yet. She leaned over, gaze flicking back to the door. Where was Leonidus? Why wasn't he here to give her food? And provide her with some form of socialization, even if it wasn't positive? She stayed where she was, gaze flicking back to him. She growled, bowing her head as she stared at him. "I'm hungry." she stated, drawing closer to him very tentatively.

"Biting humans is illegal, Bree," Aric told her gently. "We have bagged blood for you."

"I'm hungry." She repeated, drawing even closer. She repeatedly continued to lick her lips. Of course, Bree wasn't quite...normal....so she didn't care. She seemed agitated now, and tried to draw away, whimpering. And then suddenly, she seemed to coil herself up. Bobbing her head, she eyed him one last time, before she launched for him, her intentions not quite known.

Aric caught Bree as she slammed against his chest, sending them both flying. Grunting, he wrapped his arms around hers and locked her against his chest. "I'm sorry, Bree," he murmured. "Lucian! Knock her out!"

As soon as Bree was being held against Aric's chest, she seemed to fall limp, her sides heaving with a sigh. But then she started to struggle, growling and flailing around, trying to get away from him. She snarled, trying to bite his hand so he would loosen her. "Leonidus!" she called in distress.
