_{"Leonidus is gone!" Aric grunted, struggling to hold his mate. "Lucian!" he cried, desperate now. The leader of the North American council stepped into the room, his very aura commanding obedience.
"Breanna O'malley," Lucian growled.}

[Amber]

_{After a few moments, Bree seemed to calm down in her mate's arms, her eyes starting to glaze over. As soon as Lucian walked into the room, she snapped her head around and growled, lunging at him. Luckily Aric's grasp had held her back. She watched Lucian warily, eyes narrowed in a glare. Suddenly she tried lunging for Lucian again, growling over and over again. After a few more tries she stopped, sides dramatically heaving back and forth; she was close to hyperventilating. Whimpering, she turned to Aric, and her eyes narrowed. She searched his face silently, before she growled again,head butting him in the chest.}

_{Aric coughed as the air was shoved out of his lungs, but he held onto his mate. Lucian decided he'd had enough, and slammed into Bree's mind, effortlessly tearing down whatever defensive walls she'd managed to place there.
"Breanna." His voice was a low growl of warning.}

[Amber]

_{Bree seemed to stop struggling, but her sides heaved heavily as she panted. Why wasn't Aric letting her go? She whimpered, squirming slightly in Aric's grasp. Her gaze was trained on Lucian, her silver-green eyes scanning over him. She was clinging onto the strings of sanity barely, and the way she was acting, it showed. Unless she just seemed to be a very disobedient person who was upset that her mate was saving her. Her sides never ceased rising and falling quickly. She was distressed, hungry, and outright mad. She edged away from Lucian's figure, and deeper into Aric's embrace. Her head was lowered, and a growl escaped her throat. At least she wasn't struggling and attacking now.}

[Cloudy]

_{Aric tightened his grip around his mate, murmuring comforting words. Lucian's gaze never wavered as he easily ruffled through Bree's mind, picking at her memories of recent events. He frowned when he found the memory of her turning, a painful one without the drugs to ease it. "It looks like Leonidus put a tamper on her memories of you, Aric." At that, the Enforcer's jaw clenched.}

[Amber]

_{Bree continued to stare at Lucian, her full attention on him, rather then on Aric now. She seemed to not mind his presence.....at the moment. She seemed a little more at ease now, but still stared at Lucian with her head lowered in aggression/defence. She turned to Aric for only a moment before her head snapped back over to Lucian. She tried half-heartedly wriggling away from Aric again, trying to reach Lucian with out-reached arms. "Let me go!" she shrieked.}

_{"I think not," Lucian responded, working quickly to reverse Leonidus' twisting of her mind. He was expressionless, sifting through her mind easily and somewhat-delicately.}

_{Bree snarled at Lucian, desperately reaching for him, and when that didn't work she turned to Aric, trying to give one last attempt on attacking him. She tried butting him in th chest again, tugged at his shirt, and then tried biting his neck, and came close enough to at least scrape her teeth against his neck. Since she had no fangs, it was a very interesting sight to see her doing it, indeed. She'de probably be all fixee up before much harm was done to Aric, especially since he was still stronger.}
