I'm gonna do a post of all my charries since i'm bored.]
Keely quickly made her way out of the cabin, and over to the stables. After checking, and taking care of all her horses, she trekked out to the woods. Every evening she went out in the woods, but soon appeared an hour or two later. She left shallow footprints in the snow as she went, grumbling along to herself. She glanced up at the sky, giving an estimated calculation of the time, before she glanced back up ahead. At one point she had tripped and fallen, cutting her hands on an icy patch of snow. Cursing under her breath softly, she got to her feet, brushed herself down to the best of her abilities, and continued on, humming a tune to occupy her brain. She liked coming out here. The crisp air helped her think about all that had gone wrong. It even helped with her feelings. Finally satisifed with the length she had walked, she settled down under a tree, stretching her long legs out in front of her body.Thing Two was bounding around the pasture, tossing her small head two and fro, and whinnying once in a while. The young filly was having fun romping around in the snow. At one point, she had paused to nose at it, and squeeled, pulling her head back sharply. It was cold! Shaking out her mane, she proceeded to romp about.

The snowy woods were a unique experience for Abram. He could only remember one other time when he'd spent any time in the snowy woods. His grandparents had taken them up to Prescott for a weekend stay in a cabin. It was one of the few good memories he had of that time in his life- he must have only been five or six. He had loved tramping around in the snow in the shadows of the trees. Today, however, he was having some trouble focusing on the simple beauty of the winter forest.
He was desperate to escape the absolutely depressing atmosphere in the bunk house. He wasn't sure who had died, he'd only overheard a couple of people talking about the tragedy, but it seemed to have affected a lot of the jockeys. He guessed all living here they must all know each other pretty well, so it made sense. Still, it was enough to make him uncomfortable. Emotions had never exactly been his strong suit. So, Kohl at his heels he struck off into the woods that fringed the property. He hadn't explored them thoroughly yet, but he didn't have much fear this close to the facility. Kohl left his side to range around the wood, sniffing and exploring.
He almost stumbled across Keely, eyes turned upwards towards the sky sillouhetted between the bare branches of the trees. Catching himself before he tripped over her legs, it didn't take him long to recognize who she was- her name was unique enough to stick in his memory, as was their conversation. "Oh, hey Keely. Aren't you cold sitting in the snow?"

Keely glanced up in surprise, green eyes peering up at him. She hesitated, before giving a shrug. "I guess. But I don't really care." She murmered, shifitng her position, as she stared down at her hands. By this time, her pants were almost soaked, as her body heat had melted all of the snow under her. She was tired of the drama the facility seemed to bring. "I-I...." She huffed, bowing her head. She didn't know what to do anymore. Actually, to be truthful, she wasn't planning on coming back tonight, and barely even cared if she froze and died. Huffinf, she glanced back up at him.
