Sadie nodded slowly, shifting in her seat and reached over to grab his hand. She smiled encouragingly and nodded again. "What kind of tests are they doing?" She asked curiously, tipping her head ever so slightly. She was a bit nervous about this, and could only pray that Adam had gotten over his cancer. She couldn't loose him.

Adam shrugged a shoulder. "I'd assume a blood test, for one. Maybe an ultrasound or x-ray. I'm hoping nothing too extreme. It should just be routine stuff as far as I'm aware." He pulled out onto the main road and began to drive toward the next town, passing a damaged tree, trunk torn and exposing healing wood, situated just off of a little lane. He was almost positive this was where Miguel had his accident, but didn't say a word. No sense in upsetting Sadie. "Dennie's, Big Boy, Texas Roadhouse...any of those sound good to you?"

Sadie nodded as he talked, glancing every once in awhile out of the window, eyebrows raising faintly at the tree trunk. She turned back to Adam, and nodded again. "Yeah, I'm good with any of those." She paused. "You decide, I always choose." She pointed out with a faint smile as she leaned back in her seat.

"Texas Roadhouse. Haven't been there in...gosh, years, I'd say. In any case, it was with the Fletchers." A small flash of guilt and grief crosses his face before disappearing again. He hadn't talked to them or visited in a long time. It had been very difficult after Fletch died. How did he face his family when Mike was dead? He brushed the thought away. He would visit next time he was in California.

Brea smirked and raised her eyebrows, fingers brushing against his side. "What? You mean this?" She nodded slowly at his response. "Nicee. Almost better than what I did." She smiled innocently at him.

Sadie offered a small smile at this, but then frowned faintly at his expression but then just nodded. "I don't think I have ever been to Texas Roadhouse. Is it the place that serves the peanuts while you are waiting to be seated?" She asked quietly, head tipping slightly. She ran a hand through her hair. She seemed to have calmed down a lot since being utterly distracted.

"I think so. It's been a while since I've been there. I'm almost positive it is though. And there's like...peanut shells everywhere when you're walking." Adam chimed in, studying Sadie for a moment while he waited at a red light patiently.
[Photography was the best today. I was working in the back of the room on my art project, listening to some music and my teacher asked for a few people to help him set something up. I heard mention of the word bubblewrap and pretty much ran across the room. It wound up being five or six girls and one boy sitting cross-legged on the floor, popping bubblewrap. :3 I have several sheets still in my backpack.]

Sasha sat on his bed, staring vacantly at the earthy brown paint on his walls. He eventually flopped onto his back, eyes on the ceiling. He heaved a sigh. It was almost time for him to go visit Russia to see his mother again. Skya had originally wanted to go with him, but he wasn't sure if she was serious about going anymore. She'd mentioned it but he doubted she wanted to be depending on him for a week or so. She didn't know how to speak Russian. He'd have to be there constantly to translate for her when language barriers came up. He furrowed his eyebrows. She'd be in the same house as him, sitting next to him for endless hours on a plane. Did she want to go to Russia that badly? [/quote]
