A lazy smile played on Brea's lips as crossed her legs so that one knee rested on the other, leaning back slightly so that her back rested comfortably on the hay. "Well, I did ride a horse into the sunset and gallop through the water and save the world, but you probably don't want to hear about that... Too boring, you know?" she said, voice completely serious. "What about you, hm?" she prodded him lightly in the side.

Adam let out a soft sigh. "We're going to work through this together, okay? You're not going through this alone, I hope you know that." Adam brushed his hand down her arm to find her hand, gently grasping it in his own. "Should we just take my truck and then come back to get yours?" He inquired, tipping his head.

Sadie nodded again, smiling faintly once more before giving his hand a squeeze and gratitude flashed in her eyes. She leaned up to kiss his cheek and before she pulled away again, she murmured into his ear. "I hope you know I love you, and you are the best thing that has happened to me, and I don't know where I would be without you." She said sweetly, flushing slightly as she said this.

"I already know that, love." Adam whispered, moving to open the door for Sadie. He suddenly scrambled up into the seat, awkwardly shuffling before climbing into his seat, one hand moving to his pocket. He avoided looking at Sadie, perhaps trying to pass off the awkward moment as something normal.

Sadie's eyes flashed in confusion at this, and she hesitated before climbing into the truck after him, eyebrows raising. She stared at him for a moment, expression falling to a blank stare before she shrugged it off and buckled in. "What was that about?" She finally ventured to ask, eyeing him curiously.

Adam didn't answer Sadie as she wanted. "Nothing." He murmured instead. "Don't worry 'bout it. Any ideas of where we should go?" He asked instead, turning to face her. He hadn't even turned the engine back on yet, waiting patiently for her answer.

"No... Don't do that." Kenton protested, jutting out his lower lip as he did so. "Er... Went to the track, got a few mounts... Defeated Godzilla, the usual." He said with a shrug and a smug smile.

Sadie's forehead creased in confusion, but she just did her best to shrug it off and ignore the pressing curiosity. "Okay... And er... I don't care, you choose." She said quietly with a shrug, glancing down for a moment to examine her hands and the interior of the truck before glancing back up to Adam.

Adam nodded once and immediately turned the ignition, listening as the engine started up. "My appointment is tomorrow." This was said seemingly out of nowhere, perhaps a thought accidentally spoken out loud. He gave a reassuring smile and then frowned. "They're just doing tests. I don't find out the actual results for a week or so." He tapped his finger on the steering wheel before turning the radio on softly out of habit.
