Sarafina's eyes sparkled as she climbed up a giant oak tree. What should have taken her minutes, possibly hours, took her no more than a few seconds. In a matter of moments Sarafina was perched on the very top of the tree, her copper curls glinting in the sunlight. She smiled, she loved the power her body now possessed, she hadn't realized yet what it meant to live forever. She leaned her head against the rough bark, revealing in the fact that she had a place to call home now.
Just how long it took her to get up the oak tree, it took her as long to get down. She walked silently along the forest floor and it didn't take her long for her to reach her new front door. A house had been built for her and she absolutely loved it. The only thing that would've made it better was if there was a ton of animals running amuck around the house.

Malachi's black, tired eyes watched Sarafina from afar. He leaned against a tree outside her home, watching his fledging [is this okay? :3] with soft, tender eyes.
"I do not think you are weak," Alfar responded with a tired voice. "But I do not believe you will ever have to fight. The Six Nations live in peace. What good will fighting do for the Queen of the Schimba, if peace is our way of life?" He sighed and readied himself. "Let me see your offensive stance."
--
"I want more." Costin leaned back in his chair, black eyes boring into Unole with a interesting expression. "Nonsense," Vetyl snapped. "You have sufficient land. The Cibarium have only a small radius. If anyone deserves more land, it is us!" "Ghosts and succubus," Costin snarled, "hardly need land. My Strigoi are thinning our hunting grounds. We need more space. Unole has the most land of us all. Why doesn't he spread the wealth a bit?" "I will not surrender my lands," Unole said in a cold voice, "to the cruelty of the Strigoi. It is the land sacred to my people, and thus it will remain in my care." "Ill fight for it!" "Then you will die!" Unole roared, snapping to his feet.

(Of course! Sarafina's smile waned as she glanced back, her eyes narrowed just the slightest. She knew someone was here, she didn't know who it was. Her brow furrowed, she was still uncertain on how to get used to her new improved senses, they were 100x more amplified than they had been. She rolled her shoulders and shrugged as she opened the door to her home and vanished inside.
Ember glanced away,"A change is coming to this world. Can't you feel it? The balance of power is shifting. I need to know how to fight so I can defend my people. I fear we are on the brink of war my friend and I will not have my people unprepared."she answered, sorrow in her voice. She shook her as if to clear her thoughts and than she dropped into a crouch and tilted her head to peer up at her new teacher.

"War with who?" Alfar responded. "The Strigoi? They do not have the power in court to stand against the Schimba." He eyed her stance and padded around her. "Bend your knees a bit more, and relax your spine. You need to be ready to move at a moment's notice."
Malachi smiled to himself, tilting his head back. He let out a soft whistle, waiting a moment. The mockingjays in the trees around him repeated the call: one that was akin to Katniss' call and he stepped into clear view, leaning back against the tree as he waited for his fledgling.
--
"The Strigoi are prepared for war," Costin snarled. "Who stands with us?" "The Nephilim," Kayrin said smoothly, glaring at Unole. "It is time for a change in things. The Schimba have outgrown their existence on this earth." "The Cibarium stand with you," Vetyl uttered. "We, too, wish the Schimba gone."
Unole was stunned. "We meet your declaration with our own," he said quietly. "The Schimba will never relent in our defense." "The Priciolici stand with you." Doru curled his lip and growled at Costin.
"Heated, are we, now?" The Witch-King said boredly.

Jaci trotted into the Pack House, flanked on both sides by her daughters, Jane and Josephine. The two were like night and day, literally. Jane was a blond, honey color while in wolf form and Josephine was so black she looked blue almost in the sunlight while in her canine form. Their eyes all shifted colors too, turning the stark blue of an icy sky like Jaci's.

Ember nodded,"I hope your right for my people's sake."she murmured as she bent her knees just a bit more. She however was having trouble relaxing her spine. She didn't know what he meant.
Sarafina poked her head out her front door, all that showed was her mess of copper curls. Though Malachi couldn't see it, a smile touched her lips, and she shot out of her house. It took her about five seconds to meet her mentor(?), she stopped just in front of him. Her eyes danced and she seemed to bounce in place like an eager puppy dog.

Fane yawned widely, his jaws splitting to reveal the pink of his throat. He nodded to Jaci and her children, sidestepping to allow the three to sweep into the pack house. He then returned to his place as guard, his deep, ebony fur shifting slightly in the wind. His amber eyes swept across the area before him.
"Calm," Malachi rumbled with a laugh. It was refreshing to see Sarafina so excited about her undeath. He blinked ever so slowly. "Who's got you in such a good mood?"
"Loosen the muscles in your back," Alfar ordered, "as though you're somewhat slumping. It'll loosen your muscles and allow you to move quicker."
--
The Summit had dispersed, and the Witch-King turned his gaunt eyes to Unole. "Though I will not do so openly, it is you that I will place my hope in, Schimba. The world is changing. Costin has been preparing for this day for quite some time. You, Schimba, and your allies are all that stands between the human race and enslavement. You must not fail."

Sarafina tilted her head,"No one. I'm just so happy to finally have a place called home."she glanced at the forest floor,"It's the only home I've had all my life."she said, blinking. She lifted her gaze once more to Malachi,"So what are we doing today?"her hyperness prominent as she bounced on her toes. She was ready for anything and everything. Anything to please the people the people that had gave her salivation.
Ember took a deep breath and as she exhaled her tense muscles relaxed."Better?"she asked, glancing up at her mentor. She hoped she wouldn't be doing this forever. She was already bored out of her mind and Ember didn't do well with boredness.

"A bit. Now, stand up straight and practice falling into that crouch," Alfar said. "And don't give me the 'I want to fight now!' Fighting skills are mastered when you master the crouch, both defensive and offensive. Now, get to work!" He watched her curiously, waiting for any sign that she'd snap and try to attack him. A certain mastery came over fighting when one learned to watch for the tell-tale signs, but that was a lesson for another day. It took a lot of patience to master that aspect, and Alfar knew she'd lose her mind if he forced it on her.
Malachi huffed. "I don't know. What do you want to do? Costin -" whenever Malachi said the Strigoi lord's name his eyes darkened, if that was even possible "-is out at the Summit, so I have no orders on what to teach you specifically. What would you like to learn, little one?"

Jaci soon walked out in her human form, her tiny body dressed in jean shorts and a white tank top. She sat beside Fane and ran a hand through his coat, watching how her little hand nearly disapeared in his thick fur. She leaned on the big wolf's side, not caring if someone was watching or not.
Jane was sleeping in one of the extra bedrooms in the pack house. The young wolf had run patrol all night and was exaughsted. She was about 18 in human form, though Pricolici aged three times faster than human children. Her tattoo was between her shoulderblades on her back, her tan skin maing the dark birthmark stand out. She was snoozing quietly on the soft bed in a tank top and tiny cotton shorts she left here at the pack house.
Josie was practicing her fighting skills out in the backyard. She was charging and latching onto a practice dummy made out of burlap and stuffed with cotton stuffing. It had an arm missing stuffing was poking out of the hole where the arm use to be.
