Cam raised his eyebrows. "Come on Tate, I was just messing around." He said then his jaw dropped. "Wait. Queen?.My god, do you think I'm gay?" He asked, holding the towel around his hip. "'Cuz I'm not."

Anne sat up with Tate. "Maybe I should just leave," she grumbled, obviously very unphased by the fact all Cam wore was a towel. She leaned up against the headboard, eyes trailing over to Tate. She subconsciously watched him, a smile on her face at his annoyance.

Navajo nickered to his new friend, resting his head almost protectively over the spot where Ladd's neck ended and his withers began. His eyelids drooped slightly and he cocked back his hind hoof; blowing out of his mouth quietly.

"Hey, wait no." Cam said with a shake of him head. "You two stay here and sleep. I'll go bunk somewhere else for the night. Enjoy the room." Cam said as he grabbed his clothes and headed out the door.

Tate hadn't planned on saying anything to begin with to Cam's inquiry of his thoughts on his sexuality. He wondered how Cam knew his name, though, since he couldn't recall every meeting him prior to now. How did he know my name? His mental query was never put into words either because he couldn't be bothered or because he didn't realize he hand't, most likely the latter. He slunk back against the headboard like Anne before then the pillows. Tate pulled Anne with him, shaking his head and mumbling a "no."
Ladd's eyes closed like he was falling asleep right then and there with the comfort of Navajo beside him.

Anne smiled as she was dragged back so she lay across the bed. Snuggling under the bed, she moved her face so close to Tate's that her nose touched his. The duvet and his body warmth mixed with hers kept her comfortable as she tangled her legs with Tate's and her eyes watched his. "Goodnight," she whispered, before pulling her face so it rested against his neck again. This time sleep overcame her.
