Raising her eyebrows, Sadie frowned and stuck out her bottom lip. "But Adam... I want to know. Huh? Just a little clue? You can tell little ol' me." She spoke back, pulling back so she could look him square in the eye. She pulled her best sad face, bottom lip jutting out, chin tucked in, and she batted her long eyelashes at him, hoping to get him to tell her. "Don't make me tickle you or something to get it out." She said pointedly afterwards, taking a step back and jutting her chin out. She was going to be stubborn about it, because her curiosity was getting the better of her, and she wanted to know. She glanced at the little girl he held and raised an eyebrow at her, almost asking Zoey to try and get it out of him for her. She grinned snarkily for a moment before returning her attention to him.

Miguel shook his head at Ever's question. "I don not own a horse. I have no need for my own grooming kit. Sorry. Ask one of the other jockeys. There should be some in the tack room though. Or something like that..." Personally, it was of little to no concern to him. Ever should have kept better track of her own kit.
Adam shook his head. "Don't make me take this to the grave. If you keep begging, you won't get an answer from me no matter what." He was being stubborn, which wasn't unusual. He merely bounced a tad, eyes flicking to little Zoey. He trusted she wouldn't try to steal it from him. It'd make her precious Uncle Addy upset, heaven forbid.
Alexander nodded slowly and sighed. "I helped raise twin fillies when their dam died...they were stolen almost one year ago." He furrowed his eyebrows, recalling the two boisterous fillies. It was exhausting to raise them but it had been worth it. They had had potential, only for it to be taken when the fillies disappeared.
[on iPad, takes awhile to respond to y'all, will be rather slow...]

Sadie frowned heavily, but her eyes were bright and playful. "But... Theeen teeeellll meeee... It can't be that big of a deal, or what?" She asked, eyebrows raised fully in attempt for him to still tell her. She wanted to know, and she was going to pout again, devising a plan to try and get him to tell her. She sighed quietly and leaned back against the truck, bottom lip still jutted out.
[Sorry short, getting ready for practice.]

The tires of an old, slighty beat-up blue pickup truck crunched against gravel as the truck rolled in to the long, winding driveway; its driver drumming her fingers against the steering wheel, her gray eyes slightly wide as she took in her surroundings. Dark hair spilled over the shoulders of her navy sweatshirt, falling forward slightly as she eased her truck to a halt. Nineteen-year-old Bellamy Lynne fumbled with the controls on the side panel of her truck, eventually rolling down the window so that she could look out to make sure the horse trailer that she'd been pulling was alright. After she'd checked it, Bell finally allowed the engine to die and grabbed her keys, pushing the door open with her shoulder as she grabbed her white baseball cap. She didn't yet place it on her head, instead looping a few fingers through the back of it as she made her way to the door of the trailer.
Inside the old black horse trailer was a big, elegant, athletic-looking bay mare. She was a dark chocolate color which darkened down her legs and lightened at her muzzle. There was a small white snippet on her forehead which contrasted against her dark mane and tail. She stood at nearly seventeen hands, though she was still growing, at only two years old. Bellamy had raised her from a foal and named her herself, calling her Summerdreaming. Summerdreaming was a graceful horse; she moved with precision, as if every step she took had a purpose. Her stride was lengthy and flowing, much like her flowing, neat appearance.
Bellamy cracked a smile as she unlatched the trailer door and Summerdreaming greeted her with a nicker, her ears perked and expression bright. She stamped a hoof impatiently, quite eager to get out of the trailer. Bell shook her head, laughing slightly when the filly nosed her pockets. "Silly girl. My treats are in my bag, sorry, you can have some later." The jockey ran her fingers through her horse's mane, pushing her forelock out of her eyes and then giving her forehead a scratch. She wanted to settle the filly down in her stall before unloading her own things, but she was a bit unsure as to whether she should just go ahead and do so, or wait for someone to assist her in doing so. It wasn't that she needed help, she just didn't want to seem pushy by just going right ahead and placing her horse in a stall without the okay from someone at the facility.

Stacy frowned and sighed softly. "I'm sorry to hear that they were stolen. Did you ever find out who did it or did you get them back?" She asked.

Ever raised an eyebrow,"Okay.. Calm down. I was just asking.. Geez. I thought we were suppose to be best friends. Whatever."she said, shaking her head and heading back up the upstairs. She hoped it was hidden deep in her room or in than tack room or something. Ever sighed, rubbing her temples, she hadn't meant to snap at Miguel, but that was the way she was. She wasn't called a spitfire for no reason. Her temper easily flared and when it did you better watch out. A frustrated sigh escaped her lips as she flopped down on her bed and curled up in a ball.
Rebel snorted, poking his head out of the stall to see what in the world was going on. He stomped a hoof and shook his mane out. He wanted his short person, his coat was itchy and it needed a grooming.

Alexander shook his head slowly in answer. "No. They were not caught. And fillies are still missing. I just hope they were bought by good people." He tipped his head and frowned. "They would be in training about now, learning to race..." He brushed it off the thought and gestured to Twilight. "Is this one yours too?" She certainly wasn't familiar to him, nor had he seen a Thoroughbred that color before. How odd...
Miguel scowled at Ever. "You're the one that's getting all worked up," Miguel pointed out with irritation. Since his accident, he had been a bit more touchy, a bit different. He didn't remember much of the past few years and his moods changed as fast as he got headaches.
Adam grinned widely and shrugged a shoulder. "I don't know, babe. That's for me to know and you to find out. Maybe. You gotta behave." Adam set Zoey down carefully, grunting. "She's getting heavier." It wasn't that he was weak. By no means was he. He controlled beasts that weighed half a ton, refusing to let them rub full out. However, with his poor eating habits in an effort to stay light enough to race, and the way he'd once been so sick, his body remained a tad weak. It would take more than a few months to regain his strength. [sorry, Misty. I am gonna be eating soon, don't wanna jump in and keep another person waiting, not to mention I don't have anyone free at the moment. /: ]

She nodded. "That sucks, I hope they have good homes too." She said stroking Miracle. She nodded and smiled softly. "Yes, she is. Her name is Vanilla Twilight, haven't raced her yet though, she just turned 3." She answered.

Sadie pouted further, but quit her pestering, and glanced down at Zoey. She raised he eyebrows faintly before letting out a soft sigh. She was leaned up against Adam's truck, ankles and arms crossed before her gaze flickered back to her boyfriend. She smirked ever so slightly, her eyes lighting up mishevously. She was in a better mood, after completely being distracted from the earlier conversation. She cleared her throat before she shifted, tickled Adam's sides, and took off towards an empty field near the parking lot. "YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!" Sadie screamed like a little kid, and her shoes weren't the best to run in, so she wasn't going that fast. Plus, Adam was faster, and would likely catch up to her with ease. However, Sadie was still looking for a distraction, and this seemed like a good one.

Ever's temper flared and her hands curled into fists."Some friend he is."she muttered to herself as she rummaged through her closet looking for that stupid grooming kit. She couldn't remember where she placed it and it ont made her mood more sour. A frustrated sigh found its way from lips as she got to her feet and stalked down the stairs. Her gaze wandered for a moment and than it settled on the target of her anger. She stalked over to him and stopped right in front of him, with her hands on her hips."What's your problem? I thought we were suppose to be best friends! You seriously flipped out on me because I asked you if you had a grooming kit I could borrow? Some friend you are."she ranted on and on. Slowly though, her anger slowly vanished. She didn't wanna fight with her best friend. She was doing so good too and she didn't want her best friend to be the cause of it. Ever sighed again, shaking her head, as she rubbed her eyes.
