Pastel is a large, pure black male wolf with bright yellow eyes. He is the Alpha of the Painters Pack. He has several light colored marking on his coat that are white, light blue, light pink, and light purple. This is why he got his name, because his markings are pastels. His coat is bushy and somewhat ruffed around his neck, giving him a slightly bigger appearance than he actually is. He is tall for a wolf and has long legs and a long tail. His nose is a light pink and the pads of his paws are a rougher pink color. Pastel is the strong silent type. He doesn't talk to much and would rather listen. He constantly watches his pack, making sure that they are safe and that they cooperate with each other. He loves his mate dearly and is a very protective father. He is a fair Alpha to the packs and is friendly once you get to know him. He loves to have fun, but is deadly in battle. If any being tries to hurt his pack, his family, he turns into one of the fiercest creatures in the forest. He is the mate to Pyka and their pups are Turtle and Russet. No one in the pack is very sure of where Pastel came from. He doesn't like talking about it. Not even Pyka knows. When he was little there was a hunt for wolves. The villagers were upset that the large wolf pack was killing all of the game in the territory, leaving a few smaller animals for the village. One day, the chief of the village told his best hunters that they may kill as many wolves as they wished, as long as none of them were pups. . When the warriors returned that night, hauling with them many dead wolves, one hunter came to the chief and gave him a wolf cub he had captured, saying it was a gift. The chief praised the warrior, since he was the only one who had thought of bringing back a gift from the hunt. The chief raised the frightened black pup to be a strong protector of the village. When the chief passed away, the black wolf ran off into the forest. Never to be seen again. That wolf was Pastel, the cub raised by humans.

The wolf who calls himself Leto is quite a bit smaller than his brother, Aloris, though he makes up for it in speed. Leto is quite possibly the fastest wolf the pack has, as well as one of the best hunters and possibly the strongest tracker. Leto's body is streamlined, perfectly balanced between muscle and size, making him fast. His coat is a mix of tans and deep, blood-reds and smokey grays, making it an interesting combination. His chest, half of his flanks, and his legs are a slight tan, a mix between beige and white. Half-way up his flanks starts the mix of colors, the most dominant of them being the red. His muzzle and head are covered in the splash of color, aside from his cheeks and throat. His tail is also colorful, except for the underside. Leto has the eyes that has made Aloris so intimidating: the weird, pastel-color yellow that illuminates to a creepy degree whenever Leto's mad or struggling with emotion. Along Leto's spine are horizontal stripes of a deep ebon, seeming to resemble tattoos. Around Leto's right eye is a ring of black, looking as if it was drawn with a calligraphy pen. Leto is much like his brother; he, too, can come off as gruff or aloof. He's easily angered, and when you've pushed Leto over the edge, run. He'd rip your throat out in a heartbeat before Aloris could stop him. Leto is fiercely loyal, however, and will go to any degree to protect his family and pack, and would do so as well for his mate. He longs for a mate an for a family of his own, but generally, only the alpha pair or beta pair are allowed to rear young. Leto's dominance is second only to Pastel. If he wanted, he could challenge the alpha for his position. Leto doesn't to be beta or alpha, no matter how much his nature needs him to be. Leto's not a big speaker; he's more of the grunt-and-nod sort of character. Aloris and his brother's relationship is strained a bit by Leto's unconscious need to be dominant. Aloris could see that his brother is equal, if not greater, in dominance to him and it caused a bit of tension between the two. Aloris, however, was killed by disease long ago.
