Dziki Aniol lazily nipped at Aiden's shirt, before he began to turn in the trailer to face the exit, tail swooshing as he tugged his hand against the strain of the rope and attempted to drag Aiden out.
Skya laughed at Gal, shaking her head. "You haven't changed one bit," She teased heartily, scrunching up her nose and sticking her tongue out at the palomino. "Well, at least it's good to know nothing's changed too much since I've been gone,"

Sekhmet's expression was one of gentle wonder. She watched the horizon of the pasture very carefully, noting the subtle changes in the land around her. She loved what Aiden had done with the facility, adored the additions and changes he'd made. It was about time for these changes, and Sekhmet had been there to help Aiden with the paperwork that came along with it. She'd been there each step of the way, but the design genius was all Aiden's. Sekhmet had simply helped with the secretarial work, studying her college works when she had time. A gentle smile spread across Sekhmet's pretty face as she thought of the past six months, and how the facility had been beautifully renovated. Her glittering, tawny eyes closed for a moment and she stood there, breathing in the air around her, dissecting the multitude of distinct smells that filled her lungs; the horses, the smell of fresh-cut grass, a few wild-flowers swaying in the breeze, the grain that fed the horses. She allowed her eyes to open once more and ran her fingers lightly through her jet black locks, turning towards the bunkhouse.

[Greetings, Clouded one. Early spring, sorry. Might wanna wait on the summer clothes. XD]
Adam Apparel exited the tack room at just about the same time that Sadie and Charlie entered the Mares and Fillies wing, carrying tack in his arms. He wore a hoodie and some jeans, hair all messed up, as he headed down the aisle. He'd missed his wife and daughter by that much but would see them soon, he was sure. He had to take his big chestnut stallion, My Guy Red, out for a good run. The horse was still an active racer and was preparing for another season, building muscle back up so that he was in perfect form once more. He hadn't raced the previous year. That time had been spent recovering and retraining him so that he'd be ready. Time would tell if the chestnut stallion could continue to race or not.
Adam paused outside of Red's stall, making a kissing noise to draw his attention. Red shoved his nose into Adam's hand the moment the stall door had opened. He'd taken a liking to Adam over the past several months thanks to the time put in to helping him out. He caught Skya's words, of course. "On the contrary, everything's changed. You're the first one back, huh? Good to see ya." He greeted, poking his head out of Red's door.
Aiden planted his feet, refusing to let the colt drag him out. He was baffled by the mood change, but he wasn't going to let himself be bossed around. "Not until you behave," He uttered, holding the lead rope firmly. "We'll stand here all day if need be."

I probably looked very attractive gobbling down the low-carb pizza... Its just so good. You replace the crust with beef and...mmm
Aniol whipped around to stare at Aiden, stunned before recomposing himself and nudging the male roughly.
Skya's head snapped around and a smile broke out on her face. "Adam!" She squealed excitedly, abandoning Shadow and rushing over. She threw her arms around his neck in a hug, making weird noises as she tried to contain her excitement but failed. She pulled back and just stared at him. "You too," she lightly punched him in the arm, before glancing down the aisle. "Do you think I should go check on Aiden? I left him with Aniol and he's not the friendliest."

Hope's gaze slowly took in her familiar surroundings, her eyes began to water. A new sense of relief washed over the badly beaten girl. She smiled softly as she slowly and almost painfully got out of her truck. Scars and big bruises covered her body, but only a few were visible and the ones that were were covered in makeup. Hope didn't want anyone to know and in fact she wanted to forget herself. She sighed as she headed for the horse trailer attached her ford.
The past few months had not been pleasant to the girl. They were,in fact, hell. She had gone back home to try and get her mind off things, but instead of peace and refuge all she was her heart ache and sorrow. Upon returning home, Hope was beaten by her father for leaving and unable to go anywhere else and broke because her dad stole her wallet as soon as she arrived so he could at least have a few days with her, Hope stayed. After the few days, she got her wallet and assets back, Hope noticed her mother's scars and bruises. That's when she realized that her father had moved on from little girls to older girls and women. She decided to stay then and take the heat for her mother. Hope endured months of beatings and unpleasant things for the sake of her mother, but that didn't matter now. No, all of that was in the past. Now what mattered was making it in the racing world.
Hope smiled, shyly, as she opened the horse trailer and stepped in to it. "C'mon baby boy. Let's have a fresh start."

That sounds...interesting? Hey, Spots. Erm...I don't think I've got any more characters right now. DX
Adam broke into a wide smile, slipping out of the stall to meet his fellow jockey. He allowed her to hug him, returning the gesture before letting her go. "Ah, hey. C'mon, I don't need more bruises." He protested and then tipped his head. "Who's not the friendliest? Aiden or Aniol?" He teased, certain she meant the horse. Aiden was easily dismissed as a threat. "You remember My Guy Red, right? Look at him! Ain't he good lookin'?" Adam's signature crooked grin had spread over his features. He was certain that Aiden could wait another minute. Aiden sometimes worked with hormonal broodmares, after all.
Aiden almost laughed at the stunned expression on Aniol's face, but he refused to be cowed. "Stop bullying me and we'll get along fine," He said firmly. "We don't move until you behave. I have all day. My mares won't like that, but the grooms'll take care of 'em."
