Hope smiled gently as she lead her new stallion into the stables. She liked the new changes so far. Ever would've loved this place. A sharp pain of grief shot through her as she thought about her beautiful and talented cousin. Hope sighed, there was nothing she could have done to stop Ever's death from happening and she knew that, but it didn't stop her from mourning her cousins untimely demise. The young jockey shook her head, hoping to clear her mind from such sorrow filled thoughts. Hope hurried through the motions of putting her stallion in a stall and making sure he was comfortable, before she went in desperate search of a familiar face. One in particular she had her sights set on. The extraordinary mare that won the Italian Triple Crown, The Devil's Lyric. It had been hard for Hope to leave Lyric, but it had to have been done and now all Hope could think about was visiting the mare. Short. Sorry on my phone too.
