kk he shall be fifth former then
The fifth former smirked at her boldness. "Sassy. I always liked that quality in girls," his finger swooped down and ran along her jaw. "But as you said, I must get going. It was nice, you know. Running into you. Or rather, you running into me." he sneered, teasing her, but his voice was harsh. He left her in the hallway, not looking back and heading for his class. When it was found, he settled in the back, ignoring the look his teacher gave. He just stared ahead blankly, and though it looked like he was completely and utterly zoned out, he took in the historical stories of the vampyres that were being told, occasionally glancing around the room with a look of satisfaction as people occasionally glanced at him. He just smiled his crude smile and they looked away.

Faye snorted, heading for her Lit class. She slipped into the room, apologizing profoundly to the teacher before handing them a note. She sank into her seat next to Reese, expression mortified. She hated being late, hated being the center of attention as she slipped into class. She scrubbed at her jaw, in the spot where the man she slammed into had run his finger along. Goddess, he was rude. What was wrong with him? Did he have a stick the size of Texas stuck up his butt?

Reese raised her eyebrows at Faye as she sat down. "Well you finally showed up, huh?" Reese whispered over to her friend, eyebrows still raised up some.
Luke sighed with relief when the bell for lunch rang. He collected his books and headed for the door. He walked toward's Rykon's room as he wished to speak with his mentor. [that okay Cloudster?]

[yeah]
Faye groaned. "Don't remind me," she mumbled. "I hate being late. My mentor wanted to see me," she responded, voice a soft whisper. Relief flashed in her gaze at the lunch bell. "Thank the Goddess."
Rykon's gaze turned from his computer screen as he sensed someone approaching. "Wonder who it is, Raj?" he murmured to the Savannah cat perched on the windowsill.

On the way to Rykon's classroom Luke's cat, Macyn, joined him. She was a sweet little silver tabby cat with glowing yellow eyes. "Hy Rykon." Luke said as he stepped in, bowing in respect to his mentore. Macyn trotted past him and leaped onto the windowsill, pushing into Raj.
"I know. I was almost late today." Reese said as she gathered her books up. "So, whats with that face? You looked ticked off. Something your mentor told you?"

"Nah," Faye responded. "He wanted to tell me that there was a sort of talent competition tonight and if I was okay that he'd enrolled me." She sighed, stuffing her Lit book in her cubby. "No, I'm kind of ticked because I hate being late and I ran into this guy in the hallway and I fell. My freakin' butt hurts and the guy was a jerk."
"Luke," Rykon greeted warmly. Raj mewed a protest, though he shifted to give Macyn some space. "What can I do for you?"

"Aw. Poor thing." Reese said, looking over at Faye. "C'mon. Lets get some food. It'll make ya feel better!" she said with a grin as she tugged Faye towards the dining hall. "Yay! Chicken pot pie!" Reese bounced a few times, excited for the food, before looking over at Faye again.
"Had a few questions on that talent competition happening tonight. Have any details?" Luke asked, plopping into a seat while Macyn sat with Raj.

"Bless everything we hold dear," Faye cried, walking quickly to overtake Reese. She was starving, and the food at the House of Night was to die for.
"Sure," Rykon responded. "It's pretty much a talent competition like any other high school, I'd say, though it's between several Houses of Night around here."

"Think they would let me shoot a few arrows or fence somebody or something like that?" Luke asked. He had a talent for weapons, archery mostly, though he was skilled with a blade as well. It only made sense for Rykon to be his mentor.

"Yes, most likely. There are going to be several gifted fledglings, if I remember correctly. I am not sure, though." Rykon turned his body to face Luke, eyes glittering. The shape-shifter was in high demand by many House of Night schools, begging him to come teach there. They wanted the prestige of having the only shape-shifter in history at their school, but Rykon remained in the town where he'd been Marked and Changed; he liked it here, and had no immediate desire to move.
