Orenda blinked, her head tilting as she listened to her older brother. A blush flooded her cheeks as she thought of Stark. Jai was probably right. Her and Ember were going to have a few conflicts over Jai's attention. The strong sibling bond that Jai and Orenda had had did get weaker the moment Jai and Ember's lifemate bond took hold. Her nose wrinkled again slightly in jealousy but then she tried to focus on Stark.

_{Stark's turned his odd, icy blue eyes across the small clearing, settling his gaze on Orenda. The intensity of his eyes burned through her, and an flash of possessiveness zipped through Stark's gaze before he flicked his gaze to Unole, bowing his head.
"My King," he murmured.
"Back from England?" Unole teased, eyes narrowed, and Stark grinned.
"No, my King." He shrugged one should. "I was in Scotland when your call went out. I apologize for my delay, but the Atlantic ocean winds are not the kindest."
Unole rolled his eyes, smiling kindly at the young warrior. He strode towards the blue-eyed Schimba, ruffling Stark's jet-black locks before patting his back. "Go on and work with Orenda, eh? I want to see her survival skills." An odd look passed through Stark's eyes and his jaw and spine set, but he nodded in response.}

_{Ember nodded, hoping she was reassuring him,"Again."she smiled,"Don't make me tell you twice... If we are to be married someday you best learn to listen to me now."she said. Before Jai had any chance of replying, she kneeled down infront of him and kissed him softly on the lips, in the middle of training."I'm not a fragile as you think, Jai. Now please again."she whispered, intimately in his ear before she stood and took her stance.(Sorry short.)}

_{Jai's eyes narrowed ever so slowly before he stood, uncoiling himself. He bared his blunt teeth and growled, before he finally conceded. Naturally, he fought his beast, his wolf that snarled for the protection of his mate. With his mind, he reached out, curled his power around Ember's mind, and shoved down her ability to shift. He face was blank as he did this, tilting his head slightly as he awaited for reaction.}

_{Ember didn't even blink, she just narrowed her eyes as she began to throw up wall after wall of defense, after she was satisfied she threw up as many walls as she could, she launched her mind into Hai's. Looking for anything to use. Maybe, just maybe she could figure out how to control his body. She shoved Jai's mind roughly, looking for his weaknesses, his desires, his dreams, anything. A smile curved her lips as she tired to launch his mind into a dream of his that spoke of every wish, every desire, everything he asked for to make Shangri-La. She withdrew from him mind and tried to strike him with a physical attack. Her foot shot out in an arc.}

<sub>Jai easily sidestepped her physical attack, hurtling himself backwards out of her reach. His eyes were narrowed as she probed his mind and he struck back even harder, dragging down her walls by force. Still pushing hard against her mind he lunged forward, dragging her to the ground and pinning her. Oddly enough, he could sense the power Ember had, buried within her blood and soul. She didn't tap into it, which was odd. She could hand his butt to him with that power but he realized she didn't know about it.

Unole swung his head around, realizing that Jai had discovered Ember's power. It was nestled deep in her blood, and likely would never surface unless a traumatic event caused it to. He growled and sent a warning to Jai; Ember didn't know about it, and it wasn't time for her to learn.</sub>

_{Ember's roar of fury echoed through the ancient oaks, her eyes blazed as squirmed underneath his grip. She didn't mean to, but she whimpered. Enough she snarled into her mates mind. She hadn't mean to speak so harshly, but she was frustrated. How could she save her people if she couldn't even save herself? She snarled a warning at Jai, was not time to test her. She broke free of Jai's hold and got up. She took off, running through the forest, as fast as her human legs would carry her, considering Jai still had ahold if her mind.}

Unole's voice was soft, but firm. Almost instantly, Jai's hold on her mind was replaced by Unole's as he reached out, clamping down on her ability to run. Do not seek to flee from this place, Ember. You are learning, and you are doing well. Jai has had years to learn these things, and I have no doubt you will hand Jai his pride in but a few days' time. You are powerful, Ember, and there is more power in you than you think. Now, return. Unole's last request was an order as he gently relaxed his hold on Ember's mind, though he was ready to force her to return if he needed to.</sub>

_{Ember stood there, her eyes wide with fury and unspoken frustration,"I was heading back to the manor."she spoke aloud, sighing in defeat as she began to trudge forward. It took her quite awhile, but once she got there. She just stood there, staring expectantly at Jai and her father. He had wanted her back here and here she was, pleased or not. What ember needed was a nice run. She needed her frustration to be voice in something other than words. (Sorry finshing homework..)}

<sub>Jai stepped forward, wrapping Ember in his arms and sending calming thoughts to her. Hey, he said softly, resting his forehead against hers. Sorry if I made you angry. I was, er, fighting against my beast and I took it out on you. I'm sorry.
