Ever's smile was real,"That's great!"she said and gave him a brief hug. She sank back in Devious's stall, her smile faltering. She hadn't forgotten the last time they had talked and it still stung whenever she recalled their unexpected fight. A sigh escaped her lips as she patted her mare,"Momma's gonna miss you."she whispered, before she turned and leaned against the stall door. Her eyes peered up at Miguel and slowly a smile touched her lips. It was great news that he had found his necklace, she just couldn't get over the fact that she was sending Devious off and that she wouldn't be able to see her everyday. She tilted her head as Devious nibbled at her hair and she laughed softly. She would miss Devious's sweet face.

{ Sorry, I took a showerrr.}
Skya let BamBam roam the indoor arena further while she leaned on the fence and glance in Keely's direction. The girl looked lonely, in need of company, so Skya called her name and gestured for her to come over. BamBam ambled around behind her, head lowered as he searched for something to nibble at.
"Keeeeellllllyyyy," Skya stretched out the girl's unique name, humming softly and waving in her direction. "C'mere. I want to show you something." She smiled pleasantly, tipping her head to the side and watching the Irish jockey closely. The woman admired Keely's long brown hair and startling green eyes; Skya's father had his own set of emerald colored irises, while her mother had brown, which is why Skya had been gifted with hazel eyes. She didn't love her eyes, but she didn't hate them. They were a light hazel and changed color a lot, having no specific shade pinned on them. From afar they could be easily mistaken as brown, which was a huge pet peeve of Skya's, for if you looked at them in the light they usually had a decent amount of green to them. They never were just plain brown, having at least a speck of the other hue.

Stacy finished making the bottle and turned around. Miracle nosed her stomach and stamped a hoof. Stacy rolled her eyes and tipped the bottle towards him. Miracle grasped onto the teat and began to suckle. Stacy pulled it away from him so he wouldn't drink to much at one time and then gave him back the bottle, doing this every few minuets until he was finished. She then tied him up and began to groom him. Once finished she mucked out his stall and set down fresh bedding and put him out in a small pasture, scratching his forehead before she left, she turned and walked back into the stable.
Stacy led Twilight out and groomed her then mucked out her stall and set down fresh bedding. She then went and got her tack and tacked her up. She stretched and yawned, taking a few pills for medicational reasons and drinking a quick cup of coffee. She then pulled on some riding boots and got her helmet and strapped it on. She led Twilight out and to the track. She mounted up and led her onto the track and began to breeze her.

[Shower time and then I'll be back and continuing to draw.]
"Maybe she takes after her sire's half-brother," Aiden suggested with a wicked look of amusement. "Wouldn't that be lovely? Taking after Gallant Marines?" The facility owner stifled a sneeze, making a face in an effort to stop the tingling sensation. Sometimes the crisp air of autumn left him sneezy, though he didn't have allergies. Or, at least, he didn't think he did. It was starting to get chilly as fall progressed.
Adam's eyes were dulled from the painkillers by the time he hauled himself up onto Tremolo's back, letting the black frame overo colt warm up in the crisp morning air. He wore a flak jacket to protect his midsection, but zipped up a jacket to protect himself from the chill. He hated that winter would be coming. That meant colds and possibly pneumonia for his damaged lungs. After his accident almost two years ago where his lungs had taken some pretty severe damage, he was more susceptible to respiratory problems. Not only was the illnesses a burden, but he was so easily affected by temperature these days. It was halfway due to him being anemic, but there were other unknown factors. Adam still blamed IVs. Tremolo jerked his head in an effort to regain Adam's attention. They'd stopped beside the track.

"I pray she doesn't... I don't want to deal with a little Gallant Marines... That would just be a joy." Sadie said bitterly, gazing at the filly as she trotted around the pasture. The cherry bay was filling out, her baby fat was gone, and she was a sleek, slender, powerful thoroughbred filly now. She was just under sixteen hands, but had long, thick legs, and the slender form of her late mother. She had the heart and endurance of her father, and Sadie decided, she was going to be a wonderful racer, whether she rode her or not. She frowned for a moment in thought, eyebrows furrowing for a moment as she leaned against the stall door. Why was making this decision so hard? She shook the thoughts that started whirling around her mind before she turned to Aiden. "Anywho... How are you, Aiden?" She asked quietly, tipping her head ever so quietly.

Miguel's own smile faded as well, either guessing what Ever was thinking about or picking up on the fact that she wasn't happy. "I'll go," He said unexpectedly. "I'm interrupting...this," He gestured helplessly toward the mare that was absorbing much of Ever's attention. He was still bothered that Ever had automatically assumed that he was angry when he merely said he had no grooming kit to spare. He hadn't been angry at all. She'd just looked into his response and put in an emotion that wasn't there. If she wanted to pick a fight, she was welcome to. She clearly wasn't going to put the petty little argument behind them and resume being friends. Fine. He had work to do, anyway.
"I'm busy as ever," Aiden responded with a shrug. "I've got to make sure that the foals we have are coming along in manners to prepare for the spring yearling auction. That means that I've got to find a good trainer that's able to deal with foals without traumatizing them and ruining them. I've also got to keep an eye on a few pregnant mares, ship two stallions out for breeding, receive another two mares to be bred from Argentina, along with the bills, and ensuring that the feed comes in on time. I've also got to figure out where Shadow Hunter was sent. The previous owners went bankrupt and sold him off without telling me."
[Oh, I do too, believe me. I froze and then when it crawled in going," Heeeey gurrrrl, can I shower wit yew?" Well, that made me mad so I was like," Ew no. Go die. DROWN BURN! DIE!" And the spider slowly went down the drain going," I just wanted to be clean! Why do you hate meeeeee?!"]

Sadie nodded slowly as he spoke, eyebrows furrowing at a few parts and she frowned at the last part, feeling bad for the poor facility owner. "I'm sorry Aiden, let me know if you need help with anything. Okay?" Afterall, half way through the day, she found herself with nothing to do, and often just did the job of what one of the grooms would do. Despite her few, own, minor struggles, she was rather happy at the moment. Things were looking up, but she would always be there if anyone needed a hug or a hand. She nodded once, mostly to herself as she leaned back against the pasture fence. "Are you going to try and by Shadow back, if you find him?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing. She hoped that he found the black Thoroughbred, she had liked Shadow Hunter. He was a great horse and deserved to be in a good environment.

[Yep. It's rather scary. o.o"]
"I don't. But thank you. If I don't have this work to do, what else am I supposed to do?" Aiden asked dryly. "I don't have the social desires that everyone else here has, nor do I have my own horses to give special attention to." The grooms attended to the breeding stock, though he himself visited now and then to ensure things were going well. And, for the second time within a day, he'd admitted that he didn't really care that he had no friends or successful relationships. He didn't seem particularly concerned that he would most likely die alone. Like a certain Russian in the facility. "It'd be nice to have Shadow back. I doubt I'd get to ride much, but on the rare day that I have nothing to do, I'd like to be able to go riding." He said quietly, shrugging. "Not to mention that he was a good breeding stallion."

Sadie nodded slowly, eyebrows furrowing and she shifted from foot to foot. "Yeah... That is true. Shadow is a good stallion, and I hope you get him back." She nodded hopefully, staring at the ground for a moment and stifling a nod. She let out a sigh and glanced over her shoulder from where Lu was approaching the fence. Her ears were flicking and head lowered slightly as she stopped every so often to sniff at a patch of grass. Sadie cracked a faint smile before turning back to Aiden. She shifted slightly. Sadie wasn't known for her ability to carry on a conversation, for a heartbeat or so, she struggled for something to say. Finally, she spoke up. "So... How is the breeding program going?" She asked rather lamely, wincing at that and wrinkling her nose. She let out a sigh, mentally slapping herself for being so awkward.
