Pastel growled slightly as Russet pulled on his tail. The large black wolf shook the red pup off, making him roll away. "Not now. Go play with Turtle." Pastel said, motioning with his tail to Russet's slender gray sister.
Pyka was in the Caretaker den. She nosed soft soft grass on the ground where the injured or sick wolves would lay. She padded outside, her white coat gleaming, and moved to stand beside her mate. She licked Pastel's cheek and looked lovingly at her pups.
Riko, the Sentinel for the Ravas, was talking to a lone wolf passing through. He told the old she-wolf that she was on claimed territory and that once she crossed the mountains she would be on free land.

Leto's pastel yellow eyes swept across the land, watching carefully for any signs of intrusion. As a Sentinel [put him as this], it was his duty to Pastel and the pack to protect against intruders and keep the territory safe and empty of rival wolves. Satisfied, Leto swung around and began a steady lope back to the den, tongue lolling slightly.
