Pastel nodded to Leto. He motioned him over to speak with him. "Me and Pyka are going out hunting. Watch the pups while we're gone." he said, looking to his beloved pups. They were getting big. It would be time for them to choose between Hunter or Fighter soon. Russet, though, would soon be Delta.
Turtle glanced over at Leto, eyes brightening. She woofed at him playfully, her green eyes bright. She wagged her feathery tail and shook her coat, trying to rid her silky hair of leaves and dust. She was small, thin but with long legs like her father. Her thin body made her swift and she would soon be one of the fastest wolves in the pack.

Leto nodded, his expression softening. A wolf of few words, Leto did not often speak - he was more of the 'grunt-and-nod' sort of character. It made him seem gruff and careless, but place Leto around pups and he seemed to turn a new leaf. He loved pups; he wanted a mate and family of his own one day, if it was possibly.

Russet tackled Leto, the russet colored cub much larger than his sister.

Leto gave a good-natured grunt, allowing his legs to go limp and allowing his body to collapse. He huffed, gave Russet a playful glare, and then playfully nosed the little pup away.

Russet barked at Leto, running in for another attack after getting up from where he toppled over. He jumped and latched onto Leto's scruff, his teeth like small razors. He let out a few playful growls and was working on pulling Leto down when Riko, the Rava Sentinel, walked into the den area. He looked around and spotted Leto. He smirked at the sight of the Painter getting attacked by the pup.

Leto paused, swiveling one ear in Rava's direction before he returned his attention to Russet. He mock-growled, swiping gently at the wolf pup, though he did not use his claws. With all the gentleness in the world, Leto scruffed Russet, swung him around, and then placed the pup on the earth again.

Russet sat for a moment, dazed, then growled at Riko. He smelled the Rava's scent on him and knew he was tresspassing.
"Hello, Leto." Riko said, nodding to the reddish wolf. "Is Pastel here? I have information for him."

"No," Leto responded, a bit wary as he stood to his paws. "He is not. What can I do for you?"

"I just wanted to inform him that there is a loner wolf on the territory. She said she is just passing through and is heading across the mountains. Should take her a day or so to get to the top, by then she will be off Painter territory." Riko said, sitting down and nosing Turtle playfully. The slender gray wolf toppled over, but she was quickly on her feet again.
Russet growled softly. "Don't push my sister." he huffed "Only I'm aloud to do that." He went and stoof between Turtle and Riko, talking in a hushed tone to Turtle. He barked in suprise when the smaller she-wolf bit his nose then padded off, tail held high in an alpha manner. Russet just rolled his eyes, laying down and rubbing at his sore nose while the two older wolves spoke.

Leto seemed to consider Riko's news, swishing his tail thoughtfully. His pastel yellow eyes searched the Rava wolf for a long time it seemed, before he finally spoke. As usual, he was blunt and right to the point. "Did you think she was telling the truth?" he grunted.
