<sub>Sabine whipped her massive head around and let out a long stream of blue fire, fury was in the dragon girl's eyes, as she tucked in her wings and dove down. She needed to injury Jai so he couldn't pursue them. She had to. It was part of the plan. It wasn't her favorite part. She always had a crush on Jai and it wasn't right that he had chosen her twin sister to be his mate. She had loved it when Jai and Ember hated each other. It had given her hope. She had known from when they were little that Jai was to be her stupid's sister mate. He hadn't seen nor had Ember, only Sabine and Unole had. Of course, she had found out while she hid in the shadows. It drove her mad watching the two lovebirds hold each other so tightly. She wanted that to be her. She wanted to be his mate and the true heir. It was her birthright, but it had been taken by the same person that stole her brother's chance. Their baby sister, Ember. It didn't matter though. In a few days it wouldn't matter. She would be exactly where she should be and no one would know. She would be the Princess of the Schimba and the mate of Jai. Of course, she wouldnt be in her own form. She would be in Ember's, but that didn't matter to her. She would get what she always wanted.

She roared a fearsome roar and went into attack mode. She spiraled up after the small falcon. Her jaws wide open with fire streaming out.</sub>

_{Jai once more took on the form of Toothless, though his tail was whole this time. He spiraled straight into the air, wings spread as far as they could go. With a roar of anger, Jai flipped on his back before he tucked his wings to his body and plunged towards Sabine. At the last moment, he released a burst of flame that struck the back of Sabine's skull before Ember's mate swung away. He was determined to get his mate back.}

<sub>Sabine's roar of fury was cut short was she was struck in the back of the head with Jai's flame. She moaned once, before her wings stopped flapping and she went down. Her claws loosened on the princess, but didn't realse her fully.

<sub>Jai folded his wings and dove, snagging his mate from Sabine's loose claw as he shot back. He climbed into the air before twisting, hovering as he watched Sabine plunge towards the earth. She was unconscious, it seemed.

Unole? I have my mate back and her kidnapper unconscious.
I am on my way.

Several moments later the White Stag that had originally given Unole cantered towards the fallen leviathan, shifting into the Schimba King, Unole. He glanced up as Jai landed, shifting to cradle his mate against his chest. Unole returned his attention to Sabine, curious as to who this person was.</sub>

<sub>Sabine's massive body struck the ground with a tremindious force. A weak sound of pain escaped her before the darkness grabbed her once more.

Ember awoke with a yawn, the healing process was done, expect for some bruises that were already turning yellow. She glanced at Sabine's massive form and watched in amazement as it began to shrink and take the form of a human. She looked almost like exactly like Ember. She had the same dark hair, the high cheek bones, the same nible figure. A gasp escaped her and she latched on to Jai, her heart beatomg rapidly.</sub>

<sub>Jai instinctively curled his grip around his mate tighter, narrowing his eyes ever so slightly. His nostrils flared, catching Sabine's distinct scent, clearly different then Ember's cotton candy and fresh fallen snow smell. He growled low in his throat, gently pushing his mate behind him a bit. He knew Ember would try to protest the action, but Jai's wolf was close to the surface, struggling to break free so that he could rip out the intruder's throat. Hate rose within him, clogging his throat, boiling in his stomach, clouding his vision, and he tried to take a few breaths to ease his rage. That didn't help much, really; Sabine's scent just flared in his head and made him much more angry. His green eyes snapped to Unole as the Schimba King stepped forward, shock and disbelief written across his features. "It cannot be," the Schimba king said, his voice so soft Jai almost missed it. Curiosity stirred in his heart for a minute; Jai was curious as to why Unole would say such a thing.

As soon as Unole caught the kidnapper's scent and his eyes landed on the now-human Sabine, it felt as though his heart had been punched out and then stamped on. No, this couldn't be happening. Sabine had vanished when she was born, and Unole thought her dead. There was no other reason for him not to believe that; he had no proof that Sabine was alive. Of course, Costin's stink had masked hers when he stole the babe away, brain-washing her. Unole began to hyperventilating, struggling to regain his control. He was the Schimba King, ready for anything... except his long lost daughter's return. "It cannot be." The words were so soft, Unole did not believe that he had put a voice behind them.</sub>

<sub>Ember was unnerved by the sight of her long lost twin. It looked so much like her, but it was indeed not Ember. Her sister's bone structure was not as sharp, but still they looked almost the same. She barely moved when Jai pushed her back, just her lips forming a perfect O. Silently, Ember grew wings. Beautiful feathery things that flapped silently. She didn't even realize she had moved until she found herself kneeling at the girl's side."Who is she?"her voice hoarse, her wings disappeared and instead replaced by an outstretched hand toward Jai. Slowly, Ember extended her other hand toward Sabine's face. She gently touched her cheek and than she began to stroke it. Trying to see if this was somehow all a dream.

Orenda silently shifted from her form of a tiny sparrow. She had followed the four, silently, wanting to protect her older brother. She now stood next to Unole, her mentore somewhat, as a small black kitten. She rubbed against his ankles as she tried to calm his speeding pulse.

<sub>Unole's heart raced, horror clear on his expression. How? How had she... His heir asked a question, her voice hoarse, and Unole struggled to form a coherent response. His voice wouldn't work, refusing to function under such circumstances. He was stunned. He knew that Orenda was beside him, attempting to comfort him, though he couldn't tear his gaze away.

Jai whined softly, reaching forward to tug his mate away from the female. He folded her against his body, eyes darting from his king to the female who had attempted to kidnap his mate. Ember, she tried to hurt you. Stay away, please, he begged. His wolf was going mad at the thought of his mate near the one who'd tried to hurt her.

Unole finally managed to speak. "She is your sister," he said, his voice broken.</sub>
