Hope and Clary didn't notice Raphael. Too locked on each other. The fight was unfair when it came down to sword play and hand to hand, but when it came to steeles, they were evenly matched. They locked eyes and shared a nod. They both threw down their weapons and brought out their steeles. Hope stood, rigid, waiting for her mother to make her move. Clary was used to taking the offense and of course she leapt in, her Steele a blur. "Why can't you forgive me?"she yelled as a ring of fire erupted around Hope. At the very least it would keep Hope subdued for a moment.
Hope's temper flared the moment she was surrounded by flames,"Because you traded me for Dad and Ren! What? Was I suppose to hug you and tell you everything was gonna be alright? Tough luck! You [beep] gave me to the Fair Folk to be their plaything! Do you really think I can forgive you for that?"she snarled and slammed her Steele hard to the ground.
